The TVS Ronin it’s the TVSs all new neo-retro motorcycle, which sits between the Apache RTR 200 4v and the flagship Apache RR310. As per the TVS, the new Ronin can be a do it all, whether it’s highway touring, city riding and even off-roading.

Start with the design of this new TVS Ronin, although TVS hasn’t said anywhere but it is clearly inclined towards looking like a scrambler or short of cruiser motorcycle or you can say Ronin is mixed of both motorcycles.

The TVS Ronin comes to offer lots of features, the Ronin has a full led lighting system an assistant slipper clutch, a silent starter, and two modes of abs including rain and urban, only the top-end variant gets dual channel abs while the lower two trims get a single channel setup. The top-end model also gets other add-ons like adjustable clutch and brake levers and Bluetooth connectivity. It has a tiny display and its shows plenty of stuff like distance to empty, gear position, gear shift sign, and the engaged abs mode once connected to the smartphone you get navigation updates complete ride analysis, and call-in SMS alerts to top it all off there is voice assist functionality as well.
TVS Ronin Engine Performance
TVS Ronin powering by a new four-valve, single-cylinder, oil-cooling 225.9cc engine, this new 225.9 cc engine outputs 20.4 PS of Max power at 7750 rpm and 19.93 Nm of Max Torque at 3750 rpm.
These power figures are not extraordinary as the peak torque comes in as early as 3750 rpm. This engine is derived from the Apache RTR 200 4v but with certain revisions like a longer stroke at 66mm, but the bore remains the same at 66 mm now TVS has tuned this engine for a strong low and mid-range torque which makes it quite tractable. Coming to the performance, the highlight of this engine is its tractability the motorcycle can keep cruising along at as low as 30kmph in fifth gear at about 3000 rpm. the pull isn’t entertaining, but it isn’t sluggish either the meat of the performance lies between 3000 rpm to around 7000 rpm, and the motorcycle pulls with a reasonable urgency another strong trait of this motor is its refinement the vibrations are almost non-existent and they only creep in on the fuel tank and footpegs beyond 8000 rpm.
Overall, the Ronin feels extremely smooth adding to that a light clutch and a sleek gearbox and the running feels almost effortless to ride in the city. The bike felt comfortable around 80 to 90kmph and the top speed of this TVS Ronin is 120kmph. The TVS Ronin is a 225cc motorcycle so, it gives a good mileage of around 40km to 45km per liter of petrol.

The curve weight of the TVS Ronin is 160 kg. so, moving around it is not super easy, but it should be doable for almost everyone. the seat height TVS Ronin is 795 mm which makes it quite accessible and hopping on the bike is not a task, if you are 5.5 feet or above you can easily ride this bike, the ground clarence of this TVS Ronin is 181mm which is sufficient for the city ride, and you can take it litter bit soft off road. the seating triangle is upright and neutral and it’s quite comfortable it’s just that with the bulbous design of the fuel tank, you can’t really hold the fuel tank properly. Talking about the hardware package of the TVS Ronin, the most noticeable element here is the 41mm showa upside down forks unlike the traditional telescopic units we see in the Apache RTR 200 4v at the back it is strung by a mainshock which gets seven-step preload adjustability.
