Honda’s middleweight adventure CB500X gets a massive price cut, Honda CB500X price

The Honda CB500X is the do-it versatile middleweight adventure tourer from honda, which came as a sudden surprise at the outset with a slightly expensive price tag in 2021.

Design-wise the Honda CB500X gets led lights all around, and a slim profile design that really adds to the agility and flickability of the bike, and also makes it feel more contemporary and futuristic. The speedo console of CB500X is a negative display not easily legible I wish it was a colour TFT instead. in terms of electronics the bike has dual-channel abs as standard, but its dost have traction control yet. and please note that abs are not switchable.

The Honda CB500X is powered by engine four-stroke bs6 compliant eight-valve liquid-cooled fuel-injected 471cc parallel-twin engine, that puts out 47.5 ps of max power at 8500rpm and 43.2-newton meters of max torque at 6500rpm, and the bike get a six-speed gearbox. It also comes with a slipper clutch on board.

Talking about brakes, the honda CB500x has a single 310 mm petal disc upfront and a 240 mm disc at the back, In terms of suspension we get 41mm long-travel suspension,  these are not USD forks, these are conventional telescopic forks but are indeed adjustable for pre-load which is really good, at the back CB500x also has a pro-link mono-shock which is also adjustable. Honda CB500X has a new steel diamond tube frame, that has been tuned to deliver optimum rigidity and balance, the is 830mm but it actually feels slightly taller than that almost like an 840mm seat it’s ideal for the person of 5’8”.

The tank capacity is 17.7 litres which means almost an 18-litre tank which would offer a good tank range while touring. Talking about the tires we get a 19-inch front wheel and a 17 inch rear. The CB 500X Dunlop tires are a kind of dual sport tire with a fat 160 section rear tire.

Honda CB500X Ride comfort

Honda CB500X is a torquey machine because the power figures almost match the torque figure. so it is almost having a flat torque curve.CB500X  feels very nimble and streamlined and very easy to flick around. Being a proper adventure to the CB500X has on-road off-road tires kind of are not proper extreme off-road tires, but something that you can use on-board as well as off-road. The saddle comfort is really really good. The slipper clutch really makes a lot of difference in offering a very light clutch pull. A clutch lever action gearbox is very smooth as always effortless. The 500X has a long-travel suspension super refined power plant. Overall fit and finish build quality feels pretty much on point for a premium motorcycle because this bike does come with a slightly heavier price tag.
